We will be collecting a lot of items for the Week of Bounty. The week is all about donating bikes, clothes, furniture and just about anything you can imagine. The items will be given to folks who would be blessed to have them. Last year, we donated one and a half tractor trailer loads of good items to great people. That means, we all need to pull together to make that happen again. If you are interested, email Ruth Cannon at ruth@the-harvest.orgto be a part of the volunteer team for this year’s Week of Bounty.
We will need a lot of the volunteer help on Saturday (7th) and Sunday (8th) to load the tractor trailer. Also, we need volunteers that want to go to Bishopville on Saturday, August 14th. We will be leaving 378 Campus at 6 am. Biscuits and coffee will be ready for you to give you a little fuel for the morning.
Also, if you have any gently used boxes that are still in good shape and you are willing to donate them for this event, please email grace4u@the-harvest.org to let us know how many you can bring. We are expecting to have a great week.
