Join us during July as we begin our new series: I AM

Over the next several weeks, our Pastors and Ministry Leaders will be teaching on the various “I Ams” throughout the Bible.  As you hear these messages, please take a few moments to comment on on our Blog, what God is saying to you through this series.  You will see many folk’s notes, but also our Pastors and Ministry Leaders will be jotting some additional thoughts as well.  Let’s begin by some of you simply sharing some of the I AMs that you know and what that means to you.

Finish this sentence; I AM _________________________.

That means _____________________________________ to me.

  1. I know that the I am is who Christ is to us, But I would like to add, I am so glad to have a Christ, who , Lead, Guide, and teach me to follow. Without , him there would be no I am.People who don’t really know who the real I am, is missing, so much. It is our responsiblity to see who I am is.When we truly experience the I am of God it is great.

  2. Pastor Indar’s message helped me to see that whatever we need God to be, He is. He is our healer, deliverer, strong tower and very present help in time of need. I never knew why God chose that name. Awesome message.

  3. When Indar said that God did not need us, and that He made us just for his pleasure. Did anyone else feel like a bowl of ice cream? Just wondering.

    • You mean, feeling as significant as a bowl of ice cream, or having a bowl of ice cream? Either way…now I want a bowl of ice cream.

  4. Although he is self-sufficient and does not need anyone or anything, He loves us – that is so wonderful to know! He made us for His pleasure and purpose. Therefore, let us bring pleasure to him even if it makes us feel like a bowl of ice-cream. When we bring pleasure to God we are at our best in this life!

  5. Wow — Pastor Indar! What a great night of teaching! The way you explained the whole concept of the “angel of the Lord” answered several questions I have had, about “God” being the person who wrestled with Jacob that fateful night. I can see the “Christophany” as the perfect explanation for God appearing to man in the “pre-incarnate” person of Jesus. God has no limits! Even before the birth of Christ in the flesh, He was most assuredly PRESENT on earth and available to mankind. What a concept!

Can hardly wait for the next installment!

  6. He is our creator. He is omnipresent, omnipotent, self existent, self sufficient, all knowing, loving and merciful God and without Him, we are nothing. Because of Him, we can become our best and even better.

Amazing….wow…words are hard to find. Almost speechless.

I’m thankful to have such a loving Father. :)

  7. Pastor Indar: great kick off to this awesome series “I AM”. He is truly everything we have need of even though we didn’t even deserve it. Also, cool “in house” graphics by Christina. The Harvest is blessed with a great staff!

  8. Pastor Indar – I am truly enjoying your teachings on “I AM”! God Bless

  9. On Sunday we learn that the Sovereign God loves us and the Saving God will bring us out! Has God brought you out of anything? Would you like to briefly share with us?

  10. I AM grateful to have a loving Father. A Father that desires for me to grow in His favor.

That means everything to me. The fact that He still loves me even when I falter gives me comfort.

  11. “I AM” includest so much that it has depth and width beyond our comprehension. The series has helped me see and meditate on HE IS and WHAT HE DID for ME and YOU! The Harvest has blessed me so much and I have grown vastly and continue to do so…in choosing my words, my friends, my life and what it is showing others. Also, that I can reach out and do for another brother or sister in need or not….because he does and answers our prayers with time. I am anxious and eager to soak in all the messages I can that are presented to us by God’s tools, shepherds, and leaders. And by the way, I am in from some errands, grocery store and just dipped some Banana Split ice cream to consume as I checked my email…..so thank you Jesus for “ice cream food for the soul” as well! God bless!

  12. I know that my “abba Father ” is never a ” not now..I’m busy ” God. ” I AM that I AM ” is always a very present help in time of need. What a God, what a Saviour…what a Friend !

  13. Good Word from Pastor Aaron at 378 today. When he shared that the force of light is stronger than the force of darkness; it made me realize that light can change the essence of darkness, but darkness cannot change the essence of light. Then as he shared we control the effectiveness of the light, I realized that only the owner of the light can affect the level it shines. I like to ask questions that make myself and others think, so let’s ask ourselves how much light are we bringing into the room? It is up to us. You know whatever we bring into the room, we bring into the room. You can bring in a little light (the best of ourselves we can offer) or the unlimited, unending light of Jesus. Let’s bring more Jesus in the room everywhere we go.

  14. I am with Pastor Darrell, a great message on Sunday re light. Night light, flash light, boxing gloves (Big red ones no less, like the blood of Jesus) leave our battles up to him and no need for worry, just worship. Man, I tell you, when you are still resounding those msg words on Tuesday, it must have been great! Thanks, Pastor Aaron!

  15. This series is humbling to say the least. He doesn’t need me to do HIS work, HIS light is greater than my darkness & yet HE still chooses to use me & meet me where I am to draw me closer to HIM. HUMBLED & AMAZED!

  16. As Pastor Scott and Pastor Indar shared today, I thought a bit on John 11:39. Have you ever noticed that we all have either had or have areas in our lives that we have stored away in a tomb that has a stench? The thing that jumped out at me was that the “only” way the stench can dissipate, is if we remove the stone. Sure it will smell a bit, but let the power of the one and only I AM, touch that area. That’s the only way to remove the stench. Otherwise it stays locked up and will eventually seep out into other areas of our lives. Move your stone and allow Jesus to work. Thank you Jesus!

  17. Awesome message today Indar! It really has me thinking about all that I have stored away in my tomb. I’m thinkin it’s time for me to remove the stone, let the stink out and light a scented candle :-)

  18. Remove the Stone! Come Out! Let the Lord loose you and you will expeience resurrection life.

  19. Will you publish a list of needed items on your web-site? I want to go through my items and donate to your current mission for residents of Bishopville. Thank you.

  20. What a great word from Pastor Willie as we draw our I AM series to a close. He is our Bread of Life, not just The Bread of Life.

Will you make Him your personal Bread of Life?

What steps do you need to take in order to make Him “your” Bread of Life?

Where do you need to release the grip of your hands to allow God to flow out and send in?

And remember, our parents, grandparents and ancestors baked bread to share. How can you share your Bread?

He wants you to do so. He loves you that much.
