I am really excited about this Easter!
Passion Week (also known as Holy Week) is the time from Palm Sunday through Easter Sunday (Resurrection Sunday). Passion Week is so named because of the passion with which Jesus willingly went to the cross in order to die for our sins. The Week begins with the Triumphal Entry of Jesus on Palm Sunday and culminating in his crucifixion on Good Friday. It commemorates the last week of the earthly life of Jesus Christ. Easter Sunday actually marks the beginning of a new season because it is the first day of the fifty days to Pentecost and is not usually counted in the days of passion week but is included in the celebtation of it.
What a great time of year! It was on Easter Sunday in 1994, when I truly surrendered my life to Jesus. You see, I had accepted Jesus as an 11 year old boy, but didn’t make Him Lord until that Easter evening. Tell us what is most special about Easter to you. And then, how will you make this one a special one to remember.
It still amazes me how my King came to die for me. In the days when I am too hard on myself, I think about how He thought of me when He went to the cross.
My family won’t be able to attend any services this year at the Harvest. But what will make this Easter very, very special to me, is that my mother, (who has been in battle with stage 4 lung cancer) is having her 75th birthday on Good Friday. We will be travelling to FL to surprise her, and, God willing, attending church with her on Easter. I can’t thank God enough for such a great way to spend most likely the last time with her, but to celebrate our Lord’s resurrection together! Thank-you Jesus!
Praise God for Resurrection Sunday.
John 3:16 For God so loved the World that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
As I think about the Easter season, with Spring approaching and all the new growth of green around us, I can always feel that this is truly a special time in our lives to reflect on what our Lord did to save our souls. I cannot imagine the endurance and perserverance that he carried to the Cross for us. It is certainly of time to “thank HIM for the Cross”!
Passion , is rewarding ,steadfast love of Christ,A soft embrace of True Love, at any level. Passion has peace, and opens doors to feeling of growth in being who you are, who you will be, when by faith you allow Christ to lead.

Christ came to redeem us. He Who knew no sin, became sin for us. He went out of His way. First, by coming to the earth. Second, by going on the cross. He came DOWN so we could go UP. Share the good news with everyone you come in contact with.
Passion is the Love of Christ, that withstands all .It took passion to go to the cross,it takes passion for us to stand today.I am glad to be in the family of Christ.
Easter Sunday is coming soon. Time to be inviting all our friends and family to church.
They may come Easter Sunday just because it is Easter.
Time to ‘go fishing’ and ‘cast a wide net’.
Don’t you think?
He is Risen! He is Risen, indeed!
I’m a fishin’!!!!!!!!!
Hey Renee, I been fishing 4 times this week.
What will be different about this year’s fishing trip than last year’s or the last?
True fishermen will tell you that successful fishing takes intentional preparation. Are you preparing to fish?
As a boy, my uncle would take me fishing with him and he would always prepare well. As I reflect, I remember four areas that he always prepared.
First, he checked his boat to make sure it was water ready. He didn’t want any leaks or engine failure to hinder our ability to catch fish. His boat was the foundation of his fishing. He cared and nurtured the foundation of his fishing daily.
Second, he prepared his bait. He wanted make sure he had the right bait for the right season and often there is specific bait for certain types of fish. He had a specific plan to fish.
Third, he prepared me. He wanted to me to be prepared for fishing as well. He wanted my trip to be successful and pointed toward a big day. He wanted more than one pole in the water.
Fourth, he would prepare my aunt. He wanted her to be ready to take care of the fish when we brought home the big catch. Whether it was to sharpen his cleaning knives, clean out an area in the freezer or simply to cook them, she prepared for the catch.
Now, let me ask you again, “Are you preparing to fish?”
-Are you caring for your foundation, keeping from leaks and failure?
-Do you have the right bait for the right fish?
-Who can help you turn your casual fishing to a big catch day?
-How will you care for them after they are caught?
I would say to have intentional preparation to fish , starts with foot work. The difference in this year as oppossed to last year, I got to know some of my neighbors and my neighorhood. I started with a good morning, or a wave, or just a friendly look an a nod. Thoughout the year I noticed how they grew flowers and painted thier house anything to start conversation. I slowly started to invite them to the church I attend just casual talk. I myself had to learn about the church I attend and it’s people so as to be eager to share all the points of interest. Throughout the year I tried to stay friendly and hopefully a good neighbor. Then came the catch ,my joy and the Love of a Christ and his sacrifice for me. Then also sharing how wonderful The Heirport is. Then other groups such as the bikers, because we have bikers in the neighborhood, one concern of a neighbor was I dress all week and so sunday is casual for me, I said no problem it’s casual for us to. Now it’s time to go fishing again. Oh always be the first to welcome them to the neighborhood, take them a cake, everybody has a sweet tooth.
Have A Wonderful Blessed Easter, Jesus Loves You More Everyday

Thank You pk I raise my hand every time you say, do we have Baptist in the house, lol, seriously my kids went to christian school and our fishing hole was on thursday night we would gather and visit ,our vistors to the church. That was great it took alot of foot work to follow God’s plans to meet people of all walks of life and tell them the story about Jesus. Sometimes I really miss that those Thursday nights
