  1. Site looks great!

  2. Yes, it looks very good. Anyone out there like the new series on Jabez? What did you all think about the sermon on Sunday? How about the small group on Jabez anyone who attended have any comments or questions about it?

  3. I am already learning a lot from this study. Pastor Ken revealed Jabez’s heart to me in his sermon when he talked about how Jabez wanted to bless others through his prayer request- not just ask for something for himself. My small group has already bonded by sharing our testimonies of how great our God is. I’m looking forward to the next 6 weeks. Vicki Boozer

  4. Yes, it is very good to be in God’s word and learn these great truths in the company of good friends. A good opportunity to sharpen each other and grow together in the Lord

  5. Last night’s service was AWESOME!! Especially the intercessory prayer for the Nations. I am convinced there was a shaking in the Spirit realm last night that shook some people free! Praises to Jehovah-Nissi!

  6. Wednesday night was powerful – the praying, worship, everything was amazing.
Trying to get into the Jabez study, but struggling. Going to keep going, keep studying

  7. It’s the weekend. I am looking forward to Sunday already!!

  8. Hang in there Sommer.

  9. I would like to share the name of a good book, Espresso for a woman’s Spirit.

Sunday my husband and I felt a total transformation when we left church. God is doing wonderful not only with us but around us also. We have a wonderful marriage class mob that we attend and have made some friends and hope to make many more. I have a womans mob that I go to where I have been welcomed in and I cant wait to see what blessings God has in store for me there also. Prayer of Jabez is about spiritual blessings from God, so that we may bless others around us.

    • Yes Monica, group life do transform us! It is a wonderful opportunity to meet new friends and grow together in the Lord.

  11. true Tina, the phrase i keep hearing is a lot of us feel unworthy. for me, it is feeling more selfish about asking for something for myself.
i re-read with a group today out of the Jabez book on page 11, question 6 [key], it states, “These blessings are based on the nature and character of God.”
that was key for me. it is not about me. it is about “Who God is, not just what He does!”

  12. Jesus has started such a movement in my heart – I don’t know where it is going, but I can’t wait to get there. Good message PK!

  13. Desiring more of Him – acquires more from Him – and results in more for Him!

  14. A real Jabez encounter for my family this week. My husbands plant laid-off 80 employees (that is all of them). Kept only 3 and he was one they kept!
Then, went into office and was told everyone got a pay cut, but he got a raise! Wow!
I am in awe, and you can bet my family thanked the ONE whom all their blessings come from!
    God is so Good!

  15. Talk about highly favored in unfavorable times! That is it!

  16. Psalm 112 was given to us!

  17. That is an awesome “grace story” Renee!
    Praise Jesus!

  18. Thank You Renee, for sharing, sometimes people sharing, gives others , a start to an awesome day.Haven’t read psalms 112 in a long time . It gave me a refreshing feeling.

  19. Pondering, what was the difference in Saul and David’s relationship with God?

David consulted with God about everything-intimacy
Saul consulted with Samuel-even after he was DEAD!

Who do you turn to? Let’s all try to make sure we go to the throne and not the phone first and always! This was a good message for me.

  20. Great Renee

  21. Great message this morning at Men’s breakfast at Whiteford campus. Cory Miller’s topic was on doing a “Come Back”, great Jabez lesson there, too!
Jabez did a comeback for sure.

  22. This mornings sevice thanks PK. It was meant for me. I was late but just in time.

    Jabez Blessing:
I used to be the manager of Sam’s Bakery, they downsized and I lost my job. I was given a much lower paying job, which has caused things in my life to change, most good. Then I began I to pray. Lord enlarge my territory, Out of the blue I was approached several weeks ago by other managers to take the bakery back, but under lesser responsibility and a little more pay. I was excited but then, doubt, (little faith) began. How can I do this? They will just pull me out again and there is too much to do and not enough money, all kinds of junk went through my head. But then when I began to pray and seek God he placed in my heart “I would not give you unless I equipped you” So with my faith PK sermon I will go be happy, enjoy and leave the driving to God.

    Chris.

  23. Chris, I pray God Bless you indeed!

  24. that’s a good word, Chris. looks like it is “comeback” time for you.
praying for increase and favor for you today!

  25. All I can say is WOW! Last nights service was amazing. Thank you PK for allowing the Holy Spirit to lead us in worship all night! I could have stayed all night! I love my church family! I love Jesus!

  26. The presence of the Lord is so good. Glad we have a church family that embraces His presence!
    I love to worship Jesus!

  27. I pray for a Blessing tonight, can’t wait for the service, feel like satan has been running two feet ahead of me all day and trying to cause me to stumbles.Thank You church for always being here

  28. Sunday’s message was awesome. Thank God our Pastor is not afraid to push buttons for when peoples issues are brought up they have a tendency to react negitively. I preferr to have my buttons pushed otherwise how do we grow. Healing is there for all of our issues if we will enbrace it. More messages like sunday’s message need to be in pulpits across the nation.

  29. Hey Everybody!
Great Job on Jabez! We are growing deeper in Christ as a church family. Sign up for a small group tomorrow!
    pk

  30. Yes, great sign up opportunity tomorrow! There are about 57 MOBS (Meeting of Believers) to choose from. There are groups for men only, women only, youth, married couples, and lots of Home Group opportunities. Some great new studies too: The Air I Breathe (Worship), Servolution, Crazy Love, Lies Women Believe, Love and War, Inheritance, Prophets & Kings, just to name a few.

On a mission! Invited someone to church today that has nothing to do with it. Person has been on my mind a lot.
Did the WMHK challenge at chic fil a, that was fun! Glory to God! I just want to do HIS work! More of HIM less of me! Help me Lord!

  31. I hope every one will find a small group! Join a MOB (meeting of believers) Growth occurs in the small group relationships.
Let US GROW Together in Christ!

  32. Gobal day of Prayer (GDOP) is coming in May. There is a growing excitement about it. What a great venture it is to see the body of Christ united in prayer for our city! Anyone have some thoughts about it?

  33. I am very excited about GDOP! I have been invited folks from all over that I know. I even ventured to invite my old Pastor! I am in prayer that he comes! We must put aside our differences and come together in Unity for the main reason which is Jesus and for our city.
I am passionate about Columbia, and I can’t wait to join together with all the other believers and pray!
    SO EXCITED!

  34. I truly enjoyed the service yesterday. It was quite encouraging to me. I like the parts that faith is not a feeling, and don’t let the precious things of God get familiar. The analogy of the boat drifting really moved my heart. I want to keep my focus and faith in Jesus Christ, in check more than ever now.

To be honest, my life is good. God has been so faithful to me. However, I can see where I need to anchor my soul to the good new, and look to the cross more. I do need to check the rope and make sure it is secure.
